Being a mineral-based blush, this is definitely not matte so if you’re a matte blush person this product is not for you. It’s got little shimmers and such that give it a luminescent effect when applied. Here’s a swatch:
Now, Dainty is not a color I’d usually wear because of it’s sort of Barbie pink pigment and shimmer but hey, there’s a first time for everything. When applied as heavily as I swatched it, 2-3 swipes, it looks like an overload of blush. But when blended out, like you would do with a brush when applying to your face, it turns into a luminescent peachy glow.
It’s not heavy at all so you don’t look or feel like a clown LOL. Instead it gives you a nice natural, (minus the shimmers) finish, kind of like how your cheeks would turn pink in the color during winter. This blush, though, may be more suited for summer, when you want to have a glowing look but not for Fall/Winter when you want to look very natural and matte. However, if you’re a person who doesn’t care about trends…especially fleeting makeup trends, then you can wear this as much as you like. 🙂
